Step 1
Starting at the eye, wrap a base of thread then reverse tie a thin layer
of white bucktail on top of the shank.

Step 2
Tie in two or three strands of pearl Crystal Mirror Flash making sure
the ends are of different lengths.

Step 3
Reverse tie a thin layer of yellow bucktail. And add another two to
three strands of flash.

Step 4
Reverse tie one last thin layer of chartreuse bucktail and whip finish.
Note that each layer is tied directly on top of the previous layer to
keep the pattern as thin as possible.

Step 5
Mix a small amount of epoxy with Deep Powder and using a bodkin coat
all wraps. Rotate the fly and use your bodkin to move the epoxy when
necessary. Just before the epoxy sets use your fingers (wet them with
saliva or alcohol) to smooth and shape the head. Remember keep it thin.

Step 6
When the epoxy is dry but still tacky (minutes) apply the metallic transfer
foil. Hold the shiny side out, press, and then peel back. The foil should
remain. Repeat until the entire head is covered. A silver metallic marker(sharpie)
may be used in lieu of the foil or just to fill in any gaps. Still note
the thinness of the head as viewed from the top.

Step 7
Affix stick on mylar eyes and apply a coat of epoxy thinned with two
or three drops of denatured alcohol. Remove all excess epoxy as it flows
to the bottom of the head. Rotate until the epoxy sets.
