Note: Eagle Claw 413 (EC 413) Hook
is advantageous to this pattern.
Step 1
Tie in plastic eyes at the hook bend
& lead eyes in front of hook eye as shown in the photo below.

Step 2
Prepare Sheep Fleece in 1"
clumps with tips cut square to match butts.

Step 3
Attach fleece next to plastic eyes, with thread
wrapped around the middle of the material and tighten to the shank.

Step 4
Keep Fleece on the inside of the
hook. Bring thread forward of tie position for next step.

Step 5
Legs are attached and tied into position.

Leg Tying Technique:
Loop rubber bands between thumb,
forefinger and middle finger.

Position Legs to lean against
thread. Hold Legs in position as you tie toward the fleece.
See example below, with fleece removed so you can see better.
 

Step 6
Repeat steps until the hook shank
is filled!



Step 7
Trim with scissors to desired shape,
leave legs long.
