February through May we have an additional meeting
the
4th Tuesday of each month consisting of formal beginner and advanced
fly tying classes. See the calendar
of Events for details on what will be taught in both classes.
Materials are provided and tools are available on a limited basis
if you do not have your own. In addition to the formal classes we
have free form tying where many of the members set up a tying table
to share and instruct members on new and innovative patterns/techniques.
Additional tables may focus on rigging lines and leaders in preparation
for the upcoming season. At each session there may be six or more
tables set up tying/rigging in addition to the formal classes. You
do not have to tie; you are welcome to come and just observe and
maybe pick up some pointers or decide to get started yourself.
